Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Kigali Arrival and Transfer

Arrive in Kigali and meet your Come2Rwanda guide. Transfer to your first destination for a briefing, dinner, and overnight.

Day 2–3: Akagera National Park Safari

Game drives in Rwanda’s only savannah park searching for elephants, lions, rhinos, leopards, and buffalo. Boat cruise on Lake Ihema. Overnight inside the park.

Next Days: Nyungwe Forest National Park

Transfer to Nyungwe for chimpanzee trekking, canopy walk, and forest hikes through one of Africa’s oldest rainforests.

Lake Kivu Days: Lake Kivu

Relax on the shores of Lake Kivu with optional boat cruise, kayaking, and visits to lakeshore communities.

Day 9–10: Gorilla Trekking — Volcanoes National Park

Gorilla trek briefing then trek into the Virunga forest to find the mountain gorillas. Spend one magical hour with the gorilla family. Transfer back to Kigali.
