Day 1: Transfer and Begin Karisimbi Ascent

Transfer from Kigali to Volcanoes National Park. Briefing then begin the ascent through bamboo forest and giant lobelia to camp at 3,700m. Dinner and overnight camping on the mountain.

Day 2: Summit and Descent

Pre-dawn summit push to 4,507m. Spectacular sunrise views. Descent to park gate. Overnight near the park.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking

Gorilla trek briefing at Kinigi HQ at 7:00 AM. Trek to find the mountain gorillas — spend one magical hour with the gorilla family. Return for lunch and overnight near the park.

Day 4: Return to Kigali

Transfer back to Kigali for drop-off at airport or hotel.
