Day by Day Itinerary

1 Day Gorilla Trekking from Kigali

04:30 AM – Early Hotel Pickup in Kigali
Depart Kigali before dawn for the 2.5-hour scenic drive to Volcanoes National Park.

07:00 AM – Arrival & Gorilla Trek Briefing
Arrive at park headquarters in Kinigi. Meet rangers, receive trekking instructions, and get assigned a gorilla family group.

08:00 AM – Begin Gorilla Trek
Drive to the trek starting point and hike into the rainforest. Trek duration varies (1–5 hours) depending on gorilla location. Rangers guide you safely through the forest.

Gorilla Encounter – 1 Hour
